After painting Nobunaga's epic demise, it was time for Mitsuhide to meet his doom too. Less metal, more just sad, so I went with pencils and felt tip pen for the blood, then darkened the whole thing in paint.net (yeah, it's free, simple and it works) since it's a night scene.

Didn't use a reference, but his hair is definitely inspired by how he wears it in Kirin ga Kuru. (It's just so fluffy! Hopefully he keeps it like that until the end.)

Lineart (will paint later to add flames and whatnot) of Oda Nobunaga's final moments. He's dancing the Atsumori because of course he is. A true Dramatic Bitch until the end. I added in the mon on his fan digitally. I can't hand-draw that thing.

Edit: painted it!

If you have seen me ramble about him on Tumblr for the past 2 months, you knew this was coming XD

The man who betrayed Oda Nobunaga (he had his reasons ok?), definitely has the personality of a baritone (not the Fight Me type, more like the Tired And 100% Done type), here still young and carefree. Probably before he met Nobunaga.

Not an opera character but if he were, he would totally be one of those chaotic baritones who need a sensible bass (in his case, Toyotomi Hideyoshi) who tries to talk them out of their Wild ideas. Also, he was ultimately betrayed by an ally, Akechi Mitsuhide (another baritone, no doubt) and died in a very mëtal way.

not opera this time :D

since the like 2 opera people who follow me here probably haven't played Dragon Age: imagine if Rodrigo was a mage in a world where mages are brutally oppressed and and also he was possessed by the Spirit of Justice and blew up the Grand Inquisitor in his own church (also he's bi and romanceable <3)

Francesco’s death scene from I masnadieri. Not really from a specific production, or with specific singers, just how I imagine staging it. They usually give him a dagger because let’s be
honest, the play version of his death is too ridiculous. I had the idea that Moser is not real: he’s either a hallucination, or the Devil who came for Francesco’s soul (that’s why he looks sort of demonic). The flames are kinda stylized because the castle is on fire at this point but also representing Hell.
